ANAWANGIN
Where on earth is ANAWANGIN?
Anawangin Cove is in the province of Zambales, facing the South China Sea. It can be reached via half an hour boat ride from Barangay Pundaquit or San Miguel in San Antonio, Zambales or via a four to six hours trek of Mt. Pundaquit.
Anawangin it is

Still in Pundaquit!!!
Instead of going by boat, we could have chosen to trek the mountain to reach Anawangin. We would have loved to, kaso kulang ang oras namin eh. Sayang. But we vowed to return and try!!!
Jump off point. PUNDAQUIT..
The boat that we got was slower than the others, that's why we were almost always overtaken. Still, no complaints at this point because the view and the sea were all lovely and it was good thing to be slow to be able to enjoy the scenery better.
Although I am this freak, I could say that I enjoyed being at sea. It was my 5th time to be in a boat, so far no scary thing has ever happened. Thank God!!!!
This is why I love nature.. God's gift..
Now at the CAMP…
At Anawangin, there's no more cellphone signal. We were completely cut off from the rest of the world.
Agoho Trees. A variety of Pine tree (I guess!!!)
They lined up for this picture. They made way for me!!!
SUNSET
Colored Version.
We left anawangin cove in the noon, then we proceeded to Capones Island to see the light house. However, since it was already late and it was low tide, the boat took us in a different route, still in Capones but a lot farther from the light house. We were disappointed but that's life.. We just walked on the shore line of capones. (No cellphone signal at Capones).
At Capones shore. Nothing special really. We went for the lighthouse. Sad to say, di pwede pumunta.
I was sea sick during the boat ride back to Pundaquit.. So dizzy in the sea.
The journey back to Pundaquit was the longest. The boat stopped for several times. I didn’t know what was the cause, whether mechanical failure, battery or lack of gas. But I am certain that it did cost us our time. The boat was so slow. Hay. Then we took our lousy lunch.
After we reached Manila, we ate again. What an experience!!! Tiring but enriching. I know we could have done better but hey it was our very first camping trip-- for beginners-- we were great…or so I believe.
