A quite interesting night
Last night, our Company had its townhall meeting with no less than the President of Ayala Land--Mr. Cool Guy.
There were discussions about how the Company grew, how we managed to perform well despite the economic slowdown, how we could achieve our future plans and all. Basically some serious business stuff. Mr. Cool Guy and the other big wigs all delivered inspiring speeches that made everyone proud to be working for the most respectable and credible real estate company in the country. Our bosses certainly know the business in and out and they really walk their talk! Mr. Cool Guy is a smart and cool leader. He even took special note about how we, employees of Alveo Land, know how to party hard after working vigorously!!! He mentioned the time he graced our Christmas party in Encore (previously Embassy) and witnessed how we partied like there was no tomorrow. :)
After the townhall, around 730 PM, I went to Teatrino in Greenhills for Words and Music Concert featuring the classical balladeer Bo Cerrudo and the Manila Philharmonic Rhythm Orchestra. Bo has a very cool sounding voice and MPRO is just superb, makes you want to ask them to sing in your wedding! haha. As if!
The tickets were given by chui and we were with Angelo- our former student who is now a good friend and Raymond-- chui's student who was celebrating his birthday that day!
The music was ok, maybe just really not our genre, but still in the vicinity of 'fun'!!!
At Teatrino.
After that, we ate at Buffalo Wings Diner, still in Greenhills. We ordered Cheese Burger, Fries, Buffalo Wings and Dirty Rice!!!
My Verdict:
Cheese Burger=Ordinary
Fries= Yummy
Buffalo Wings= Yummy, definitely must try again!
Dirty Rice= Not my type.
I didn't like dirty rice. I ordered plain rice but weird thing is they didn't have any! Weird I say because plain rice is used in making dirty rice. How come they didnt have it?
