Road to Perdition

No, I'm not gonna do a review on the movie of Tom Hanks. (I am not even an expert to do a review.) This entry is about my lifelong battle against gluttony and fatness! :)
A person can only do so much. Grabeh.. Nakapag diet at run na ako ng 3 weeks, pero here I am, bumabalik na naman sa dati. I’ve gained all the pounds na na lose ko for the past 3 weeks. Boo, boo!! So I’ll just consider this a reboot! hehe.


Failure isn’t God’s rejection. Failure is God’s redirection.
Proverbs 20:30 says, Sometimes, it takes a painful situation to change your ways.

Someone said that the best revenge is living well. I believe that with all my heart. Yes, I have been let down a few times- but I'm still here- in tact!! Helping a friend

Today, I'm giving my best shot in helping someone pass the CIA exam. I know she can do it. She just got to keep on answering questions. Eventually, she'll get all the correct answers. She just got to have faith!!! Yesterday I really had the funniest night of my life. I met up with my dear buddies from shell. Arvin, Tere, Jack, Pau and Erik were present (jomi was busy with church activities). I was supposed to join them in their badminton game but I begged off. Anyways I was like 3 hours late. Hehehe.  We ate dinner (my 2nd for the evening, the 1st one was with a friend at Mr. Choi's kitchen) and laughed as if it were the last day of our lives. Then we proceeded to Starbucks to exchange stories and laugh some more. Erik brought a lot of chismis from Shell which made us utter nonstop-- "oh really?', 'wow', 'grabeh naman sila' etc..Hehehe.. So it has been decided

We will have our company Christmas party on December 6. And just like any other Christmas party that we have had, we need to be in character. The theme for this year is:   Since I am from Finance and Admin group, on the night of December 6, at NBC Tent Global City, we get to be SUPERHEROES. And I decided to be THE BATWOMAN, not the batgirl but the BATWOMAN….. Hahaha. Because my teammates are going to dress up as Batman and Robin--I have to be the Batwoman, right? Effin' poetic!!!
